Finally!

When I found out that my daughter was having a girl, I crocheted a dress and made a matching doll. My grandaughter Zoe is now old enough to wear the dress (probably not old enough to really enjoy the doll yet). Here is a picture with both of them.

Too cute!! Enventually I will learn how to put up the video. It shows them both off.

OMG! Here we are in December already. Wow! The year has flown by. I have my designs for sale at Bags by CAB. http://www.bagsbycab.com/ . Saturday, during our meet up, we were all interviewed by Interweave magazine. How cool was that? We mostly talked about what effect the economy has on our creativity. I think it has had a tremendous effect. I think people are tired of big corporations that are failing and looking for more "mom and pop' type of stores, where the there are hard working people trying to make a living. Some want hand made items that are made with quality and love. I try to put all of that in my designs. I have some new things planned for the spring. My first post. I am getting ready for my big sale on Saturday (see Calendar). I've worked hard on all my new designs. It's been a long road from idea to a small shop in Lyons to display my creations here in Denver. I have enjoy crochet most of my life. I didn't realize until my twenties that you could crochet with yarn. I always concidered myself a "threadie". I learned about doilies, tablecloths and delicate potholders first. My crochet world expanded when i discovered yarn and largers hooks. Lucky me...

I can hardly wait to see where this road takes me.
